About the Founder
Hi Everyone! I’m Yu, the founder of CoNuance.
My journey in the USA started as a university student, in Utah. After graduating with a degree in Psychology, I moved back to Japan and started the process to become a nationally licensed psychiatric social worker. Throughout my 4 years of work in Japan, a day did not pass when I did not think about my time in America, and I made the jump to hospitality management and started my career in the USA.
I came back to America, received my social worker license, and started work in retail, B2B, food and travel, throughout my time in the US, and all of these experiences have culminated into a wealth of knowledge that I can now share with my American and Japanese clients.
Developing strong intercultural skills, and having idiomatic fluency in both Japanese and English, has proven to pair well with my innate people skills.
My love for helping people and learning new things allows me to connect people from throughout the globe, and evolves into partnerships, business deals, and unforgettable memories.
My strongest skillset is reading people and helping professionals convey their thoughts and business plans in a clear and concise way. Being immersed in the American and Japanese cultures, both professionally and personally, have equally helped me pinpoint the best way to get people to work in harmony. At the same time, I help people establish and express what the bottom line is as well.
Motivation and patience are skills that are key components to intercultural harmony, and I am here to help you reach that point in your business or career.
